This topless Miley Cyrus picture is REAL — until proven otherwise

A very low-resolution topless picture of Miley Cyrus shows up online and people go all crazy. OMG it’s real! NFW it’s fake!

Here’s my view, and I think it’s reasonable. The picture is clearly Miley’s head and legs, and it’s the same wardrobe she is wearing in the rest of the Maxim shoot, in which she was definitely topless, although only seen from behind in the official pictures.

So if this is a fake, then it is a fake based on a real picture. Someone went in and photoshopped some boobies over a non-nude shot. Was she wearing a bra? Pushup bra? Nipple tape? That I do not know.

But this looks good enough to be real to me — if it’s a photoshop, it’s a clever one. And if it’s a photoshop, then the proof is simple: Bring us the original, high res, non-topless picture that was used to make the fake. That picture hasn’t turned up, so I’m saying this is real until it does.

NOTE: Some of these pictures are of a decent size. Most are not up to the quality of what I usually post, but this is a big story.
