You know something cool about France? On their national painting and currency, they have a woman who’s having a nip-slip — really, a full boob slip. A boob-and-a-half slip. She’s called Liberty in the Eugene Delacroix painting “Liberty Leading the People,” although this topless wonder is also known simply as Marianne in French national folklore.

I cannot claim to know exactly what Electre believes in. She writes a lot of pissed-off tweets about politics and it would probably help if my French were better, and I knew a single thing about French politics, which I don’t. I’m just saying: Maybe I would agree with Electre politically, maybe not — but goddamn she has an amazing body. And she is willing to use that body to say hi to her friends on twitter and to send political messages.
