Candy Samples was a hugely successful big-bust model — doing softcore, hardcore, “loops” (short films for stag parties) and more. She was blessed with a phenomenal pair of breasts that stayed that way throughout her career, which is a good thing because she didn’t even start getting naked for the camera until her mid-30s. So if you look at her pictures and wonder why they’re all in the (what we would call today) MILF/cougar category, it’s because she never posed nude in her 20s. Pretty damn good for a late bloomer!
In addition to her breasts, Candy was known for her blonde and even platinum blonde hair, although these coiffures were usually wigs (she was naturally a brunette). With Candy, you could count on charisma and irreverence that complemented that fantastic body. She was one of the top nude models not in the Playboy stable — she posed for all kinds of men’s magazines, particularly Juggs, for which she also wrote a column for years. Candy was a legend, on top of the game along with Uschi Digard and Kitten Natividad — and, like them, appeared in many films, including Superchick (1973), Flesh Gordon (1974) and Up! (1976, directed by Russ Meyer). Candy Samples died in 2019 at the age of 91.
