Our preferred outfit around here is none, so weighing in on fashion seems weird. But here in the middle of the summer of 2025, with the world on fire, American Eagle releases its new jeans advertising and the images of Sydney Sweeney go viral. (By the way, American Eagle still exists, this in itself is news.) Is this hot, though? Sydney is hot, and she is known for having the best and most frequently-displayed body in cinema, but are these shapeless, floppy leg-tents doing anything for her? Seems like one of those looks that will have people scratching their heads a year from now. Who thought this was sexy?
No doubt American Eagle paid Syd a bunch of bucks for this, and we just can’t help but thinking this is a very poor use of her classic curvy sex-symbol figure. Now Dr. Squatch on the other hand, those cats know what they’re doing…
