We don’t know any poems in Ukrainian. We weren’t even sure Ukrainian is a language, but it is — it’s related to Russian and Belarusian, uses the 33-letter Cyrillic alphabet, and borrows a lot of words from Polish. Though our understanding of Ukrainian is shitty, we feel we feel inspired to write a poem by this photo shoot of Sofi A, which is called “Poema”:
