Thing about Lara Croft from Tomb Raider was that back in the day she started out as a video-gaming’s first heroine but had proportions no earthly female could be expected to match. Her ass was too round, her boobs too big and pert, her waist too slim — she was like a video gamer’s version of a Barbie doll. I mean, GIRL POWER! and all, but — lotta ass power and sideboob power there as well. Today we are apparently living in a more enlightened age, because the new Lara is less bodacious, and less fun to look at. Thank goodness Lana Kendrick is here to rock the Lara Croft costume for Halloween week and give us a disarming display of big guns even Angelina Jolie couldn’t match.
