Irene Major has done Playboy? Sweet! Who’s Irene Major?
So Irene Major is some kinda rich lady/reality star in the UK, and she has done this Playboy shoot for the Czech edition at age 41. Here’s what the Daily Mail says:
The British-Cameroonian, wife of Canadian oil tycoon Sam Malin, 57, with whom she shares the 11-bedroom Kent mansion Ingress Abbey, has become the first black woman from the African continent to appear on the front of Playboy Czech Republic on its 30th anniversary.
Irene calls herself “Queen of Ingress” on Instagram, and has been on numerous reality TV shows.
Ok but what’s this about a wig? Here’s a great nugget from the Daily Mail story. See, Irene grew up believing paler skin to be more beautiful, which she says is a common view in Cameroon, and has been on skin-lightening regime all her life. And…
During a debate with TV presenter AJ Odudu, who challenged her reasons for wanting paler skin, [Irene] snapped that she shouldn’t have to listen to someone with ‘fake hair’ telling her how she should look – before suddenly removing her own.
She exclaimed: ‘You’re Nigerian right? Take your wig off, let’s show them Africa!’
Yup. The girl just whipped her damn wig off mid-interview so the other lady would stop asking about her skin color. That’s kind of amazing.
